Heading back to the office?
Based in Glasgow, GM Joinery are experts in office fit-outs and refurbishments.
We have worked with various high-profile clients within a variety of cities throughout the country.
Office fit-outs and refurbishments have always been exciting projects for us – allowing us to fully utilise the vast expertise of our craftsmen.
With the world moving back to working in offices, whether that be full time or a hybrid model, comfortable workspaces are more important than ever.
But what makes an office space so important to a business?
An office is a physical space to represent your organisation. As soon as a stakeholder, client or potential new employee walks through your door, their first impression is based on what they see and the atmosphere they feel.
Developing an interesting and engaging office space is the perfect opportunity to nail down you’re branding and ensure first impressions are positive ones. These first impressions could also prove pivotal when it comes to winning new clients.
Collaboration and innovation can also be improved through open offices, eliminating the dreaded “knock on the boss’ door”. Open offices allow your employees to come together to develop new and exciting ideas.
Incorporating features like break-out rooms, private workspaces and meeting rooms allow for employees to have the flexibility to work where they feel comfortable which in turn can boost productivity.
GM Joinery works with a variety of designers and architects to ensure every requirement of your prospective office is met.

Who are we?
Gary Mullen, based in the East End of Glasgow, founded GM Joinery in 1994. At the time, a time-served joiner with a genuine passion and talent for his trade and for the manufacturing of bespoke joinery items. The company is now run by Garry’s son, Darren. He has an equal passion for the industry, and the drive to ensure that GM Joinery continues to thrive.
Responding to what our clients need, GM Joinery has invested in the skills and equipment that it now needs to strive to become one of the leading independent joinery manufacturing businesses in Scotland.
